Immerse yourself in Asheville, NC’s outdoor wedding venue at Canaan Valley. Our huge 60x40 outdoor ceremony platform backs up to the forest on one side and overlooks the pond and barn on the other. It will feel like you are saying your vows while floating on a post card.

We offer customizable intimate elopement, micro wedding, and full wedding packages fit for your perfect day.

When the vows are complete, an 8 foot wide attached boardwalk will wind you through (and around) 100 year old trees to Canaan Valley’s exclusive Speakeasy reception area.

Reception Area

Designed with a 1920’s prohibition decor, the Speakeasy has to be seen to be believed. Outside is a tastefully lighted courtyard cocktail area with pass through bar service. Inside is a climate controlled 2,000 square foot haven with an 8 tap beer and wine bar and a wood burning fireplace. Choose from our selection of local brews or select your own and take advantage of in house bar service (not included in the venue package, but in the upgrades).

Tables and chairs are provided for around 100 along with a dance floor and stage for your band or DJ. Thoughtfully decorated his and hers bathrooms and a separate caterers entrance round out the Speakeasy.

For those looking for a reception in nature, we offer a tented reception on our wedding platform, as well as reception options in the courtyard.

If you're looking to host a reception or social gathering, our in-house planners will help coordinate to bring your vision to life.

Accommodations

Our location boast two eloquent rentals on property perfect for wedding parties who seek onsite lodging, and family gatherings.

Both rated with 5-Star reviews by AirBNB, the Mane House has 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, two fireplaces, and cathedral ceilings. The Hen House has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a double-sided fireplace, and heated floors.
